Rohini (રોહિણી)
“Rohini” which was published in a Gujarati Magazine ‘Chandni’ is represented here. The story is related to a happy family. Some minor issues, sometimes, disturb the harmony of the family and; in absence of compromise from either side; they become the prestige issues making the marriage as failure. Human nature is somewhat complicated to be understood. Male and female are humans, but there is the peculiarity of their nature and mood. Generally, the male is found aggressive and the female defensive. Male becomes extremist and female remains moderate in sensitive cases. In a family life, mutual understanding and consciousness of respecting the dignities of each other are very essential.
My ideas are my own and they are not, at all, binding to others. I have presented my ideas here in general. In particular cases, the nature and mood of male and female may be found contradictory to mentioned above. What they may be, we have no concern with them here. This is the preface of my story and at the end of the story, my Readers will realize how the female i.e. Rohini with her defensive and moderate attitude or understanding saved her family from breaking or becoming unhappy.
